Spencer J. Sinclair's Short Film - Isolation

No one would have believed in the last weeks of 2019 that the world as we know it was about to change, and yet, in 2020 the nations of earth engaged lockdown protocol to fight a global pandemic from a deadly virus, which had started to spread in 2019.

Spencer's short film touches on the issues of isolation, how it slowly eats at you, even though you may have some contact with the outside world.  How a desire to connect with others in some small way can strengthen a feeling of not being alone and give hope for a return to normality.

This is based (loosely) on a true story and the 'Thank You' card at the end is real, as was the label used in the film.

Spencer had been allocated lockdown task for his first year Film Production course at the University for the Creative Arts Farnham, UK.  His girlfriend (Kiera Benfield, studying Fine Art at UCA) had been staying with us from the start of lockdown, it seemed logical for the two of them to work on this short film project together.
